You always wanted to learn how to make screen-printing? Our friend RenewFabrics is holding a workshop all the week-end at Etsy

It’s a two-day workshop: this means that during the first day we will be going over some basics and try out the stencil technique. You will find out what printing on fabric requires, what to look out for, how to prepare your fabrics, etcetera. At the end of the first day you will also have already drawn on the screen, which we will leave to dry during the night. On the second day there will be a lot of printing going on!

All materials are provided. You will have a variety of fabric types and sizes to choose from (excluding leather) so that you can also experiment with other things than only cotton.

VOODOO news and food

Dear VOODOO lovers, it’s been a while… We were looking for a new location since our beloved Jacki closed on the 30th of decembre.
It was a hard task as we wanted something special with the voodoo spirit to offer you the best event. And it seems like we finally found the perfect new location!!

We are now working on the details and the next date, and we will keep you updated as soon as everything is done – probably in the next days.
Just to tease you: it will be bigger, it will be super central in Kreuzberg, and it will be around mid april.

Until then we would like to share with you our favorite saturday brunch: the vegan brunch à la française at Oh là là tarte shop.
If you’ve been to one of the VOODOO MARKET, you probably know the delicious tartes and pies from Ohlàlà.
The shop is now preparing the best brunch in town every saturday! And it’s a vegan brunch.

We tested it for you and we left with stomach full of amazing food and a big smile.
Don’t forget to reserve a table as it’s always full.

New designer: Zeppelin

Elodie, creator of the label Zeppelin, creates playful and youthful jewellery from common fishing gear and many others finds (flea market, do-it-yourself department…) which gives them a whimsical theme.

Wooden bars and cubes, fishing weights and lures, ribbons, crystals & rocaille beads, they all come from different horizons. She selects her materials for their individual beauty and then mix them to create something special and add unique character.

The materials she finds don’t have real material value and they’ve been produced for a simple function, but by using them as jewellery, people view these materials differently, it reveals their beauty. Her inspiration comes from the materials themselves. They lead her.

Her pieces are entirely handmade, in small scales or as uniques.
