OUR MANIFESTO / STORY:
We are two freelance & selftaught sisters based in Berlin Germany and Córdoba Argentina.
We upcycle second hand and vintage clothing, materials and accessories.
What we do: tHERAPY is a SUSTAINABLE DIY FASHION BRAND.
Apart from the items we redesign, we also work to create more awareness.
Beyond our love for design, beauty, objects, shapes, colors, a very important aspect of what we do is the UPCYCLING. We upcycle clothing pieces and accessories to use them ourselves and to sell them, so we can sustain our work.
Our aims are to create awareness about the consequences of mass production in our planet and to encourage people to be more creative, authentic individuals, depending less of brands and mass consumption systems. We believe that to REUSE OLD or ABANDONED MATERIALS/OBJECTS/CLOTHING PIECES is the most perfect way to achieve both aims. What we wear everyday is a very strong channel for
communicating our believes, moods and attitudes and it is possible to express one’s individuality and (life)style.
About the name:
tHERAPY started as an urgent need to recover our creative side and to do things with our own hands, exactly that: a tHERAPY for the soul.
To exorcise through tHERAPY means for us to open our soul and let fresh air come inside, to let bad thoughts, ghosts, fears fly away. We are exorcizing them.
