PINUU is the first jewelry project of the young fashion designer Julie Blau.
The collection took its inspiration from tribal people, who use materials provided by their natural environment to create beautiful jewellery.
The collection’s first pieces of jewellery were created with leftover materials from a knitting project.
The other handcrafted objects are also made out of a variety of different recyclable materials; cotton yarn, coconut yarn, hemp yarn, wood, shells, dried fruit skin, leather and copper.
The end product is a contemporary jewellery collection for the fashion and environmentally conscious woman of today.
